Dr. Jassim Al Suwaidi  Board Member

Dr. Al Suwaidi began his career at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) in 1991 after graduating with honors from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He completed postgraduate training at Mayo Clinic, USA, where he became board- certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology, receiving the Mayo Clinic Outstanding Achievement Award in 2000. He rejoined HMC in 2000 and has been Executive Director of Cardiovascular Research since 2013.  Dr. Al Suwaidi is also a Professor of Clinical Medicine at WCM-Q, Past President of the Gulf Heart Association, and has over 300 peer-reviewed publications and research presentations at major cardiology conferences.
