Dr. Einas Al- Kuwari Board Member

Dr. Einas Al-Kuwari, the first Qatari western-qualified pathologist with over 20 years of experience, earned her medical degree from Arabian Gulf University and trained in Anatomical Pathology, Cytopathology, and Hematopathology at the University of Ottawa and McGill University. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of American Pathologists. Dr. Al-Kuwari is Chair of Clinical Services at HMC’s Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology and has received multiple awards, including the Hugh Carrie Award and Hamad Medical Corporation’s Best Teacher Award.  She was recognized for her leadership in COVID19 diagnostics and the expansion of infectious diseases units in Qatar.
