Dr. Reem Jawad Al-Sulaiman Board Member

Dr. Reem Al-Sulaiman is Acting Deputy Chair of the Medical Genetics Department at HMC and an American Board- Certified Genetic Counselor specializing in hereditary cancer syndromes. She is also Assistant Chair of the Rare Disease MDT, a core member of the Qatar Genome Project, and clinical lead of Qatar University›s genetic counseling program.  Dr. Reem completed her fellowship in genetic counseling at Sarah Lawrence College and trained at prestigious U.S. institutions. She holds a Ph.D. in cancer counseling, with research recognized as a UK breakthrough in 2018, and has published widely in clinical genetics.
