Dr. Howard Jacob is the Vice President of Genomics Research and Head of Data Integration at AbbVie. He Previously served as President and Chief Scientific Officer of Envision Genomics, Inc. Executive VP Medical Genomics; Chief Medical Genomics Officer; HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology. Has over 240 scientific publications and has secured $85M grant funding from the National Institutes of Health over the last 19 years. Envision Genomics is his fourth start-up . Prior to his role at AbbVie, he led the whole genome sequencing core for the NIH-funded Undiagnosed Disease Network, the clinical teams at the world's first stand-alone genomic medicine clinic, and a whole genome clinical sequencing lab. He founded four companies and has served on the advisory boards for numerous academic and commercial organizations.
